Troon @ Family History Society
The Society was founded in 1989 when a small group of like-minded people joined together to research their family history.
At that time, it was known as Troon and District Family History Society. Since then, the Society has grown in numbers, entered the digital age and become known as Troon @ Ayrshire Family History Society.
The main aim of the Society is to encourage interest in family history and to assist members with their own family history research.
The Society has access to many good local resources and enjoys excellent relationships with local libraries and archive services.
